    Kevin Murphy CA

    I  started my working life in public practice in Henderson in 1975 and after spending a few years in the public practice environment took a leap across to the corporate world and worked in various roles in both public and private company's through until 1986 . By 1986 I had decided that my future lay in the Chartered Accountancy world as I enjoyed the variation and challenges that this brought with it every day. I joined an Auckland accountancy practice in 1986 and today I find myself sole Director responsible for the day-to-day activity of the practice I joined in 1986.


    We enjoy the benefits of being a small team that can turn our hand to nearly any assignment, no matter the size. We have a varied client base and with technologies advances we find we can assist clients both in and out of the country.


    I reside near Silverdale just north of Auckland and enjoy being able to get out of central Auckland for the weekends. 


    In sport, I still have the passion for a game of golf, I have been a member of Helensville Golf Club since 1975, during my 50 years I have had roles that have included: auditor, club committee, Club Captain, President and now enjoy my time as a life member.


    My skill set is entrenched in the years of experience that I bring to the table, as times change and technology completes all the mundane tasks, the accountant's role is more that of mentor, advisor and facilitator.


    My passion remains in assisting clients to achieve their goals, during the last 40 years I have assisted clients build their businesses, achieve their goals, sell their business and start to enjoy a well-earned retirement. My continued passion to help clients reach their goals means I still enjoy the day-to-day life as a mentor and trusted advisor, as we move through life our roles change and we assist with succession planning, I have clients that are still with me from my early days in Henderson, some 50 years ago.  Give me call or drop me an email I always have time to listen or respond.
